01 Why the fee exists
It pays for the build, once, and nothing after it
A site for a fleet or hire business is a week of structured work before it goes live. The monthly plan pays for running it. The build fee pays for making it, which is why it is a single line and not a recurring one.
A page for every fleet class
Each vehicle class you hire out gets its own written, structured page rather than a line in a list.
A page for every depot
Addresses, hours and the collection contact for each depot or collection point, built once and kept current.
Terms and the enquiry builder
Contract hire terms written out in full and an enquiry route that lands where your desk already works.
Migration and redirects
The pages worth keeping from your current site moved across, with the old addresses redirected.

04 Before you pay
The questions a finance desk asks about this line
Is this a subscription?
No. The build fee is a single payment of $697. It is charged once, it never renews, and it has nothing to do with the monthly plan, which is billed separately.
Do I need to pay this at all?
Only if we have told you a build fee is due. Plans started on or before December 31, 2026 have the build fee waived in full, so if you ordered inside that window there is nothing to pay here. If you are not sure, email hello@fleetwebstudio.com before paying.
Why is the amount the same on every plan?
Because the build is the same work on every plan: the fleet class pages, the depot pages, the terms, the enquiry route and the migration. What changes between Manifest, Register and Dispatch is what runs every month after launch, and that is priced in the monthly fee.
Is paying by card here safe?
Yes. The button opens a checkout hosted by Stripe, the payment processor. Your card number is entered on Stripe and is never sent to or stored by this site.
Can the build fee be refunded?
All sales are final, except a duplicate or incorrect charge, which is refunded in full. The refund policy linked below has the complete wording.
Not sure a build fee is due?
Ask before paying. Email hello@fleetwebstudio.com with your business name and a person checks your account within one working day.
5 revisions a month are included on every plan, and none of them carry a build fee.
